Welcome to my website! My name is Claire Wang. I'm from Beijing, China and came to the United States at age 16.

Currently, I am a first-year graduate student at the University of Chicago Master Program in Computer Science with Software Engineering specialization - expected graduation on Dec 2021. Previously, I earned my bachelor's degrees in Finance and Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

With my experience in business acquisition due diligence, combined with the understanding of computer science and software engineering, I hope to translate business needs into software solutions.

I am actively looking for software engineering as well as product management summer 2021 internship.
Experience in Full Stack, Web development and Data analytics.

Consultant, Deloitte Mergers & Acquisitions Transaction Advisory

After graduation from college, I worked for almost two years at Deloitte M&A advisory group in Chicago conducting financial due diligence. From my day to day work experience, I witness first-hand needs of automating the manually filling forms and using data analytics software to process large amount of data sets in order to process information more effectively. I can clearly see the future transition to automation and machine learning applications and would like to play a bigger role in bridging the gap between the business and technology.
